With Christmas right around the corner, many of us are gearing up to roast a traditional holiday ham! Just like turkey leftovers after Thanksgiving, I look forward to all the ways to enjoy every bite of Christmas ham this time of year.
As you are planning your Christmas menu and working on the holiday grocery lists, be sure to start thinking about those leftovers as well! This recipe for “Ham and Cheese Breakfast Horns” or Juustosarvet is one of my favorite ways to incorporate leftover ham at breakfast time. If you are entertaining overnight guests during the holidays, everyone will love waking up to the aroma of these buttery crescent-shaped pastries baking in the oven!
The dough is made with the Finlandia Swiss Cheese as well as with Finlandia Perfectly Salted Butter. The filling is prepared with more Finlandia Swiss Cheese and the leftover ham. Then (just because we can) there is even more Finlandia Swiss Cheese grated on top! Really, how can you go wrong?
