Since relocating to Salzburg, Austria from her hometown of Chicago, IL, she has become the author and subject matter expert on Salzburg and the Salzkammergut for Fodor’s Travel. She is a contributing writer, photographer, and videographer for Thrillist Media Group, where her work focuses on first-person, experiential, behind-the-scenes stories.
Inspired by the iconic hunting trophies and handcraft expertise of the Alpine region, Erin launched Waldraum Designs and created a line of sculptural lights using locally-sourced materials.
